There are two questions just about every new vaper has. The first is “What e-cig should I get?” The second, and it’s probably the one that worries people the most, is “What nicotine strength e-liquid should I use?” Actually this is pretty simple, and here’s a short guide to get you on the right track.

The main thing you have to know is that, whatever you see on the news, e-liquid isn’t “concentrated nicotine”. Even the strongest blends you’ll find in most shops are just 2.4% nicotine, or 24 milligrams per milliliter (usually just written as 24mg). Any strength of ready-made liquid is perfectly safe for anyone to use, because nicotine isn’t the problem with smoking. Lots of people believe it’s the nicotine that harms smokers but that’s completely wrong. If you go to the pharmacist and get a Nicorette spray, that has far more nicotine than any e-cig.
